Use a Passion Planner as a Blog or Business Planner

Disclosure: Writing Mindset only endorses things that I’ve personally used, something similar, or come highly recommended by trusted peers. I started Writing Mindset in 2017 as a place to talk about my experiences in the classroom. Now, I get to talk about teaching, and I also get to write about different aspects of my life like journaling and motherhood. By nature, I am a pantser when it comes to writing (Read more about plotters vs pantsers here) I tend to write from the heart, and I am committed to writing about my passions and interests. While I love writing, this type of whimsy doesn’t always result in a consistent posting routine.

Enter the Passion Planner to help me start being consistent with all of my content here on the blog.

If you have followed the blog for some time, you know I love Passion Planner as a business and as a product. If you are in the market for a standard planner for scheduling, this is the one you reach for when life feels chaotic or busy. However, Passion Planners can also be used for a variety of other journaling ideas. In this blog post, I am going to give an overview of how I am using a Passion Planner to track business ideas, manage expenses, monitor income streams, and organize all blog content. With this plan for consistency, I hope to reach some goals that I have had since early on in my blogging journey. A Passion Planner isn't just a scheduling aid; it becomes a strategic partner in manifesting your aspirations. Join me in discovering how this purposeful planner can not only enhance productivity but also serve as a compass for navigating the exciting journey of blogging or running a business.

Materials Used

  • A Passion Planner! I chose the Weekly Undated Hardcover Elite Black in Medium 6.9 X 9.8 (I find that this fits most B5 covers if I want to put it in a cover or a Chic Sparrow No. 9

  • The Rongrong Sticker Book Planner Babe Theme

  • Leuchtturm1917 Pen Loop (Black)

Make a Blog Vision Board

I made my vision board in Canva this year! If you like the style of mine and want to try something similar, feel free to grab this FREE Canva Template Link. I really liked working in Canva to make my vision boards (blog and personal) because all of the photos are right there at your fingertips. I could change the font, filter a photo, or even add graphics if I wanted to make my vision board complete.

Along with a vision board, I really want to get focused on looking toward accounts that I love as mentors. In the classroom, I would use mentor texts to show my students how to write. Why am I not applying the same concepts in my writing life? In order to do this, I have started to write down the accounts, bloggers, youtubers, and instagram accounts I love. I take note about styles, materials, and way that they deliver information in order to reflect on what I am doing on Writing Mindset.
