Cozy Fall Journaling for Everyone

Changing Leaves, Changing Notebooks

Everything that reminds me of journaling also reminds me of fall types of things. This may be the best season for grabbing a notebook and getting ready to write.

Hot beverages.

Warm blankets.

Crisp mornings.

Sunlight in windows.

Nanowrimo.

Brain-dumping worries.

Moving a little bit slower in life as we get ready for winter.

Thinking about how the goals for the year are going so far.

Getting ready to think about goals for the new year.

Whether you like the fall for the football, changing leaves, or pumpkin spice lattes, journaling has a place in everyday routine. This post is an ode to fall journaling. Think of it like a fall journaling toolkit. These are all easy things you can add to your journaling routine to get the most out of fall. Included in this post, you will find an update on my fall journaling routine, cozy fall music links to set the vibe, fun accessories and stickers, and reflective prompts to get you thinking.

My Current Journals

I LOVE my current journaling setup. I do all of my planning and big projects in my Passion Planner. I am also trying to focus on putting all of my to-do lists in my Passion Planner. The weekly setup has been extremely helpful with keeping track of my new job as a literacy coach and setting up meetings. I am using my B6 notebook as a wellness and worry journal. I added in some inserts to do some blog brainstorming and drawing. All of the journals and inserts are dedicated to fueling my passions and making me happier as a person. You could say my B6 journal is my happy journal.

Fall Journal Inspiration

This is an archive of all of my favorite journal images from September and October in the past few years. You can see I have changed my style of notebook and planning method a few times. I really liked the Passion Planner Daily setup when I was pregnant because I could take things one day at a time. Last fall is when I discovered the leather traveler’s notebook covers from Chic Sparrow and started to use an insert system to supplement my other notebooks.
